What a fantastic Week!!
I would have to say that I enjoyed doing the WebCT discussion on the topic love! I found it very insightful and interesting to hear about people’s opinions of love, through their experiences and their interpretations. Through the WebCT discussion, it was a great opportunity to meet new people as well as get to know them on a personal level. After reading some of the discussion summaries, it was very interesting what many of the groups thought of. When the question was raised in the tutorial groups what we thought of love, I thought it was a “load of crap” and “it doesn’t mean anything”. However, it was through these discussions that my attitudes have changed what love is. The texts of Chekhov, Hawthorne, and Maupassant display and interpret different types of love, which broadened my knowledge of what love is… if that makes any sense.
One of my group members had summarizes love as; “NOT by definition but by experience”. I would have to agree!!

Comment- Week 4
Hey, I have to admit, the wed ct discussion was indeed an interesting and educating form of discussing the topic, “love.” I enjoyed reading others positive and negative comments about love. It was also a great way to meet people within your course.Though there were no males in my group, the girls all hade positive yet different meaning of love and we all agreed that it was, “The Unsolved Mystery.” Though I think thoughts would have been rather different had we had males in our group due to the sinister, comment on male attitudes towards, “love.”
I look forward to the next web ct discussion as it improves pur ability to debate and discuss our opinions on certain issues with other members of our class. I must also admit the live journal skills are improving!!
Nice reading your comment!!
Cya!
